Life has a way of sizing you up. Sometimes too quickly.
I know and have gone from the projects to working at one of the top law firms in the country. I went from corporate life to running my own business. Now, my days are spent marketing but my evening are spent helping people live life to its fullest.
Your roles as event coordinator is filled with decisions, people and deadlines. I appreciate your time today and appreciate your consideration for your upcoming event. I hope this is the first of many interactions to come.

I am thankful for every opportunity I have to interact with people whether in an auditorium, sanctuary, conference room or coffee table.
Life is about experiences. Some good. Some bad. The sum of them all make us unique. But how we chose to share differs. Mine is through the spoken and written word.
Words are powerful. Words change lives. They can encourage and also cut like a sword.
My role as a communicator is to use words to inspire action. How many times have we left an event pumped up only to dim down to a fizzle only hours later? When I stand at a podium, walk through the crowd, shake a hand, stare into the audience I aim to motivate, encourage and push people to see change in their lives.

A Little About Me
I have worked in business development and marketing for more than 15 years. In 2007, I founded Nia Promotions and since have married my love of books and marketing under one roof. I specialize in taking clients from a story idea to the finished product (i.e., print, audio, and electronic books). I coach and consult with clients—writers, nonprofits, ministry leaders, speakers, consultants, and small publishers—wanting to increase their audience by publishing.
On paper, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from St. Edward’s University and a juris doctor degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law from Texas Southern University, with a certificate in Emerging Chinese Law from Renmin University in Beijing China.
I am a published author of three novels. I enjoy writing, reading, crocheting and running—whenever time permits. I also serve as prayer shawl ministry leader and Bible study facilitator at my church.
I am happily married with two children and live in Houston, TX.
