How to be Successful at Home While
Pursuing Your Purpose
If you are like most of my readers, you are a Christian or have a strong sense of God’s presence in your life. You are a mother or a caregiver. You are creative whether with fabric, yarn or words. You strive to grow and reach your highest potential. You believe you have a unique contribution to give to this world.
But you are stretched beyond recognition and feel guilty because nothing and no one is getting the best you have to offer. Not even you.
One of my clients expressed it as:
Does This Mirror Your Thoughts? Be Honest:
- Do you feel unclear about your purpose?
- Do you desire to grow spiritually and experience the peace of God?
- Do you want to have your family and/or career and serve others using your gifts?
- Do you wish you had someone to guide you along the way?
If so, you’re not alone. We have all felt this way.
It’s not often that God will connect you with someone who was purposed by Him to ignite a fire and restore drive in you, but that’s exactly what He did when He connected Dana and I. Her work ethic is phenomenal and she made me reach beyond my normal and caused me to believe….I was purposed to do exactly what I am doing.

I Know How You Feel
I know how it feels to be a wife, mother, career-woman and to accomplish a long list of goals yet still be unhappy. For years I struggled to find “balance” in my life and the more I pressed the more elusive my quest became.
As an entrepreneur, I set out to learn and implement the skills necessary to break through the chatter in my mind and unruly heart to emerge a stronger Christian, mother and wife. But along the way I realized the task seemed so lofty because it is hard work and the greatest challenge is when one seeks to do it alone.
Seeking wise counsel is key and not just any counsel but one who is willing to stand on the greatest source of our strength, encouragement, confidence and belief, the Bible.
It Can Be Different
Today, I coach women virtually and locally. I engage women through retreats, workshops and public speaking. And I sprinkle in plenty of “me time” through running and crafting.
I am able to do these wonderful things, serve others and love on my family. And I would love to help you do the same.
She has the uncanny ability to cut to the heart of the matter, tell it like it is, and love you through the transition from spiritually pregnant with purpose to realizing your purpose. Somehow, at the end of it all, you thank her and God for the experience: even the “labor” pains.
My life has been made richer and my purpose honed to a sharper point because Dana Pittman came into it.
