It’s Friday. I’m a little sluggish this morning. I have my tea and my timer is set.
The topic for 5 Minute Friday: Story.
You know the drill….

On topic (although I tend to go left on this one)
Here I go….

Story
I read the prompt and I had to suppress a gasp. Story…
In my quiet time I’m reading through Acts.
And for some reason I’ve been stuck there for a while.
I keep reading Paul’s story over and over and over.
It’s amazing to me.
It has me thinking about my story, my walk.
Am I as bold…
Do I exhibit his courage…
Will my life be changed to the degree that I’m not the old me any more?
Then I recall that my walk is uniquely mine.
That I am special.
Love.
Adored.
The apple of His eye.
But I dare not hide behind His adoration without sharing this precious gift with the world.
My mind circles back to…
Am I bold…
Am I courageous…
Am I ….

Question: Do you go about your work with boldness and/or courage? Tell me about it.

I am reading Bible cover to cover this year. And the stories in are always so thought provoking and encouraging to be bolder in our faith. Great post
Cassi, I agree. The last couple of years I’ve read the whole bible in 90 days at the beginning of the year. For the rest of the year I usually study through the people, places, and stories that leaped out during that time. This is one of those stories. 🙂
Challenging thoughts, Dana. I am reading through the Bible this year and I am currently in the book of Acts. Paul’s courage is so inspiring.
He is. I love his passion. It’s making view my walk with a different perspective.
I love the book of Acts and Paul’s story…Great thoughts about living life with the boldness and courage that Paul displayed! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome.
I finished Acts not long ago. Paul and Peter amaze me throughout the book.
I think any day now…I’ll move on. But my heart is settled here for a moment. 🙂
