Good morning. How are you? Not much like a blog introduction but let's skip formalities. You're among friends.
It's Friday and I'm ready to warm my fingertips with Five Minute Friday.
Today's Topic: Quiet.
5 minutes on the timer. Music ready. Let’s….
Go!
Quiet at one time would have meant silence. Yet as I grow a little older, and hopefully a little wiser, quiet takes on many new forms.
Quiet on some days finds me sitting in the corner of the couch with a book and warm tea within reach.
Quiet may be me crocheting with music.
Quiet may be me waking early to sit in a silent house.
This quiet may have children arguing in the background. An agitated dog joining into the commotion. But in those moments this type of "quiet" provides a place for my being to exhale. To relax. A little slice of peace.
I believe today I'll treat myself to a cup of coffee, a book, and quiet. 😉
Question: What is quiet to you? Do you seek silence? Peace? Or all thee above?

Hi Dana! Love the way you find your quiet in diverse places and spaces…from within- I’m thinking!
AFter you at Lisa-Jo’s and new to your place! ALways nice to meet a new blogger. Have a great weekend.
A cup of coffeee always speaks “quiet” to me!
Welcome! Thanks for visiting and a cup of coffee speaks volumes to me as well. :o) Be blessed and come again.
Wonderfully written.
Thank you sis. Take care.
Hi Dana,
I felt like I was sitting right beside you, thanks to your vivid descriptions. Weird how our definition of quiet changes as our family does. 🙂
Hello, yes how things change. I call it the “get in where you fit in” moments. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thanks for visiting.
